Obnold Shipping Profiles
Terms of Service
Effective 15 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Obnold Shipping Profiles (the “app”), a Shopify application provided by Obnold Pte Ltd. Please read them before installing.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you do not agree, do not install the app, or uninstall it from your Shopify admin.
2. What the app does
The app helps you keep product variants in the correct Shopify delivery profile. You author rules that match products on attributes such as vendor, type, tag, SKU, price or weight, preview which variants a rule would move, and apply the change. It records what it changed so you can undo it, and it audits your store’s shipping configuration and explains the results.
Where a store uses Shopify’s market-driven shipping, the app’s support for that model is currently read-only: it can read and report on your Markets shipping settings, and it does not change them. The app does not manage shipping rates, zones or locations themselves.
3. Relationship with Shopify
The app is an independent application that integrates with Shopify. It is not provided, endorsed or operated by Shopify. Your use of Shopify is governed by your agreement with Shopify, and the app depends on Shopify’s platform and APIs remaining available and behaving as documented.
4. Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for your Shopify account, for who on your team has access to it, and for the accuracy of the rules and settings you configure. You agree to use the app in compliance with applicable law and with Shopify’s terms.
5. Shipping configuration is yours
The app changes delivery-profile assignments in your store when you ask it to. Your shipping configuration, and the commercial consequences of it, remain yours. Shipping setup affects what your customers are charged and what you are able to fulfil, so you should review a preview before applying a change and verify the result afterwards.
The app provides preview and undo to make changes reversible, but you are responsible for confirming that your final configuration is correct for your business.
6. Rules and automation
Rules run when you apply them, and — if you enable automatic assignment — when products are created or updated in your store. You are responsible for the rules you create, their priority order and their effects. Automatic assignment is off unless you turn it on, and it can be turned off at any time in the app’s settings.
7. Plans, trials and billing
The app offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are currently Starter at $2.99 per month and Growth at $5.99 per month, each starting with a 14-day free trial. Plan features and limits are shown on the app’s Plans & pricing page.
All subscriptions are created, charged and managed by Shopify through Shopify’s own billing for apps. You approve a charge on a page hosted by Shopify, and the charge appears on your Shopify invoice. The app does not process payments and never receives your payment details. Prices are stated in USD; any taxes, currency conversion and invoicing are handled by Shopify under your agreement with them.
8. Changing or cancelling a plan
You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Shopify’s billing page, which the app links to. Cancellation stops future charges and returns the store to the free tier; it does not delete the rules and history stored by the app. Because billing is operated by Shopify, refunds and billing disputes are subject to Shopify’s billing terms and processes.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the app available and working, but it is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The app may be unavailable during maintenance, during incidents affecting our hosting, or when Shopify’s own APIs are unavailable or rate limited. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the app and the Shopify platform evolve.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to another merchant’s data, not to interfere with its operation or place a deliberately excessive load on it, not to reverse engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded, and not to use it to breach Shopify’s terms or applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
The app, its name and its underlying software remain the property of Obnold Pte Ltd. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on your Shopify store for as long as your installation is active. Your store data, your catalog and the rules you author remain yours.
12. Third-party services
The app depends on Shopify and on its hosting provider to function, as described in the Privacy Policy. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
13. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, that its audit findings will be complete, or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Obnold Pte Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, arising from your use of the app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin, which revokes its access to your store. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by Shopify or by law, or if the app is discontinued. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer and limitation of liability — continue to apply.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Obnold Pte Ltd is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms affects mandatory consumer or statutory rights available to you under the law that applies where you are.
17. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the updated terms.
